Features legislation
The rule in regulating international relations Reproduction belongs to the Ukrainian side "Family Code of Ukraine". According to the code, the program of surrogate motherhood in the case of donor egg and dad’s sperm, the sole guardian is the genetic father. Woman draws custody or adoption at her native country. Surrogate mother writes rejection of the child, it is a prerequisite for discharge from the hospital. Then all procedures taking place without her participation.
If both parent are genetically relate to the child (father gives sperm, mother egg cells and surrogate mother bears the child), the procedure is the same, except that the parents immediately indicated as mother and father.
As for the egg donation, the legal donor shall act voluntarily transfer the egg and no longer claims the given material.
Act №787 MOH Ukraine from 09.09.2013 describes in detail the legal aspects of reproductive medicine. These include indications for surrogate pregnancy and the use of donor egg, list of medical tests, requirements for surrogate mother and donors, order of service, guarantee security and confidentiality.
Ethical aspects
